We met Anna & Max on the evening before their wedding weekend began. They welcomed us at their breathtaking venue, La Cervara — a historic former abbey perched on the cliffs of Portofino. During a small couple shoot, we had the chance to connect away from the wedding rush. It was a beautiful way to establish a trusting, humorous, and relaxed relationship — one that later allowed us to capture them in raw, intimate moments, exactly as they are.

The get-together evening at the port of Portofino then felt easy and effortless. Anna & Max could fully focus on welcoming their guests, while the evening unfolded in the unique romantic atmosphere of Portofino. Laughter, heartfelt and humorous speeches, and the glow of the harbor set the tone for the days to come.

Their wedding day took place at La Cervara. The ceremony was held in the reverent, almost sacred atmosphere of the church. Even though the weather was a little unsettled throughout the day, the sky cleared in the afternoon, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning terrace with its sweeping views over the sea.

The magic of the day continued with further emotional speeches during dinner and culminated in a joyful and energetic party.

For their wedding brunch, Anna & Max chose the sophisticated beach club Le Carillon, styled in the iconic Dolce & Gabbana look — the perfect setting to gather once more in a relaxed, sun-drenched atmosphere and bring their wedding weekend to a beautiful close.
